Materuni waterfalls is the home of chagga tribe, which is an authentic tribal village. It‘s only 15km away from moshi town and also close the Kilimanjaro national park. Here you‘ll visit the waterfalls, which are around a 40-50 minutes walk away. On the way, you will learn and understand about the culture of the changga, village life and the surrounding of fauna and flora.
The views are truly magnificent and here you‘ll have the advantage of seeing the summit of Kilimanjaro. The waterfalls are 80m high and have got the pool at the bottom. It‘s an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don‘t forget your swimming costume.

Next the coffee experience awaits you. Here you go learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. After the coffee tour in materuni, your trip continues to kikuletwa hot springs. The ride takes about an hour, first we go to past sugarcane plantations, then we come to the African scrubland. Dried river beds,
baobab and acacia trees accompany us on our way. The hot springs of kikuletwa also known as chemka hot springs are close to village Randugai which is considered as the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. There‘s a small pond surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots and the crystal clear, the turquoise water invites you to refreshing birth. You will enjoy a wonderful time in jus the way you would want, in the sun dozing, chatting with the locals at the smaller bar, you can also swim.
