Experience the extraordinary phenomenon of the Great Migration with our exclusive tour focused on maximizing your time in the Serengeti. Spend a minimum of four nights immersed in this iconic park, with two nights in the Central Area renowned for its abundance of big cats, and another two strategically positioned to witness the Migration in either the South, North, or West regions based on the season. Designed to culminate in the remotest corners of the Serengeti, our itinerary offers the option to fly directly to your next destination, such as Arusha or Zanzibar, for a seamless transition. Alternatively, should you prefer overland travel, we can tailor your journey accordingly to optimize costs without compromising on the adventure.
Day 1: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Embark on a picturesque journey from your hotel at 8 am to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Despite its small size (205 sq. miles), the park boasts stunning scenery, including lush acacia forests, towering figs, and majestic mahogany trees. Encounter a diverse range of wildlife, from giraffes and elephants to baboons and blue monkeys. The park’s highlights include tree-climbing lions, flamingos along the lake shore, and sightings of the Ground Hornbill and Crested Eagle. Enjoy captivating landscapes and ample photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes against the backdrop of the lake. Optional activities, such as a bike tour or boat excursion, are available. Conclude the day with a transfer to the camp for dinner.
Day 2: NGORONGORO CRATER
Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder, spans 102 sq. miles with towering 2,000-foot-high walls, resembling Noah’s ark teeming with East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino. Home to diverse ecosystems like rivers, swamps, and a soda lake with flamingos, it’s renowned for its large elephants with huge tusks, owing to the volcanic soil’s rich mineral content. After an early transfer from Manyara, delve into the crater for a captivating morning wildlife safari, followed by a picnic lunch by the hippo lake. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before ascending the crater and returning to your accommodation.

Day 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (CENTRAL)
Embark on a picturesque journey from your hotel at 8 am to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Despite its small size (205 sq. miles), the park boasts stunning scenery, including lush acacia forests, towering figs, and majestic mahogany trees. Day 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (CENTRAL)
Full day in Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences, and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timing for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Day 5 & 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (FOLLOWING THE GREAT MIGRATION)
On these two incredible days, you will be driven across remote locations within the vast Serengeti plains in pursue of the Great Migration. The areas you visit depend on the time of the year and could be as far as the remote North of the Serengeti near the border with Kenya, or could be in the South (Ndutu Area) or even in the Western part of the park.
Day 7: FLYING OUT OF THE SERENGETI
We recommend an early morning game drive for an unforgettable sunrise experience, followed by a rewarding brunch at the camp. Afterwards, depart for the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha or your next destination, like Zanzibar. Alternatively, you can opt for a relaxing morning at the camp instead of the game drive.
OPTIONAL DAY: ADD ONE EXTRA DAY TO VISIT THE HADZABE IN LAKE EYASI OR OLDONYO SAMBU MAASAI VILLAGE.
For an authentic and off-the-beaten-path experience, consider visiting Lake Eyasi after your safari instead of returning to Arusha. Here, you can meet the fascinating Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last true nomadic groups, and join them in their morning activities. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can end your safari in Arusha and visit a traditional Maasai Village the following day. Led by a Maasai Chief, you’ll learn about their way of life, cooking techniques, livestock care, and enjoy traditional dances performed by village women. Both options offer excellent photo opportunities.
