Day 1: SELOUS GAME RESERVE

Your day begins with a prompt pickup from your hotel in the early morning, followed by a seamless transfer to the Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal for your scheduled charter flight to the Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival in the early morning, you will be greeted by your hotel representative, who will ensure your timely transfer to the chosen property for two shared game drives and a satisfying lunch. While airborne over the expansive Selous, you’ll gain insight into why it’s renowned as one of Africa’s largest parks. Despite a portion being designated for hunting, there remains an abundance of wildlife to observe and appreciate. The Rufiji River is bustling with hippopotamus and crocodiles, while the birdlife is simply mesmerizing. Lion sightings are frequent, with these majestic creatures often seen lounging around the lakes, patiently awaiting their prey.
